You will be part of the Infrastructure department. This department is made up of the teams that collectively maintain the infrastructure platform, Operating System configuration management, CI/CD build pipelines and server performance quality assurance.
We are looking to expand the team responsible for our Drone CI & build pipelines by adding a second member, creating a separate Build Team within the Infrastructure Department.
The ideal candidate for this role is used to working with Infrastructure as Code environments, utilising tools such as Drone CI and Ansible. Our usage of Drone CI is to ensure stable and performant infrastructure deployments, as well as for reproducible builds. Reasonable working experience with Configuration Management tools (specifically Ansible) would be greatly beneficial to this role.
In our production environment we do not use VMs or cloud services, however this role will be based upon our self-hosted testing and staging VM clusters where we have full control over the hardware and software.
Required: You have extensive proven working experience working with and maintaining CI pipelines for infrastructure as code based environments.
Required: You are a self-propellant individual that can work with a set goal in mind, but without requiring continuous direction.
Required: Fluency in English.
Required: You are a doer, you prefer to put pen to paper and iterate quickly, rather than to quietly research at length.
Ideal: Proven working experience with Ansible for Linux server configuration management.
Ideal: You have experience writing tests to verify the desired state and the security configuration of infrastructure.
Note: This is an on-site position in our office in Gothenburg, Sweden. We are
flexible to remote work, but expect candidates to live in Sweden and be
willing to work from our office minimum 50% of the working week.
